Zhou Xuan

Chinese actor and singer, 1920–1957. She became known in Shanghai in the 1930s in both singing and film, appeared in Street Angel and performed two of its songs, and recorded more than two hundred titles. She died in Shanghai in 1957, aged thirty-seven.
